We are seeking a highly motivated mobile test engineer with a strong background in test engineering.
Help jumpstart the mobile testing efforts in the European Quality Engineering Team.This is an excellent opportunity to shape a new team and to bring in your own ideas.
- Define the test strategy and test approach for EU mobile web and mobile applications
- Define and implement eBay Europe's mobile test automation approach
- Work with and contribute to open source projects for mobile test automation
- Plan, define and implement tests
- Work closely with the mobile development and testing team in California
- Provide mentorship to team members

Desired Skills & Experience
We are looking for the right candidate - that said we don't care about years of experience. Nevertheless in order to be good at your new job, you will require the following skills:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Relevant work experience in test engineering
- Relevant work experience in mobile testing
- Knowledge of mobile emulators
- Knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android,RIM)
- Mandatory: Java, JS, CSS, HTML
- Nice to have: TestNG, Selenium, C#, Obj-c, System Administrator skills Linux, Windows, Mac, Virtualization
- Outstanding communication skills and team player
- Working experience in a distributed environment
- Innovator
- Fluency in English mandatory. Other European language skills desired.
